WWWP is on MM!

MODEL MAYHEM that is!!! Model Mayhem is sort of a Myspace if you will, for those in the fashion world; Photographers, models, editors, stylists, makeup artists. Its a great networking site for those in the industry so look me up! I can't wait to work with some of the awesome models I've met on the site. :) YAY!

We've been in England for about two and a half months now. We've also made a trip to Milan, Italy!! I think the next trip will be Scotland, Ireland or Germany to go skiing!! I can't wait! Sorry for the lack of pictures of the area, we don't have our own internet yet. Just thought I'd keep you updated on everything!! :)

Welcome to England, mate!

We've been in England for exactly a month now. We've found a beautiful modern townhome, 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms in the town of Oundle. Almost everything is unpacked too! YAY! I can't believe we've been here a month. We celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary in London, and this last wknd we went to Stonehenge and Bath. Totally awesome. :)

We'll have everything done with the house by next weekend, including decorating, cable and internet hookup so I can post some awesome pictures for ya. :) Hopefully soon I can start up shoots again, there is no excuse not to here with all the amazing scenery!!

Short but sweet, thats all I got for now. :)

Almost ready for the big move!

Well we've been home on leave for about a month now and Sunday is my 21st birthday (woohoo! lol). Monday we will be driving to St. Louis and flying out on Wed and arriving in London Thursday morning!!!

We're excited, but nervous at the same time. Things are definitely going to be different! I don't know how long it will take us to set up internet but I will keep you all updated as often as possible. Be sure to subscribe to my blog to get emails whenever I update it! I will be posting pictures from around London and our local area as well when we arrive!!

Trash the Dress, Deployment, and Cherry Point Air Show

And this is what happens when you don't wear sunscreen in NC after being in the sun for 4 hours. OUCH!!!

The Canadian Snowbirds. Did a few cool tricks, but overall I was pretty disappointed and bored with them.

Yes there IS a woman doing a headstand on top of the plane....

Pretty much one of the most awesome pics ever. Mostly because there is woman on top of the plane while the pilot is doing loop dee loops in the air. Yup.

That would be a Harrier...the only plane that can HOVER...just like a helicopter. There's proof. AND its the only plane that can take off VERTICALLY.

The humidity causes a cloud of vapor to form around the plane. Pretty neat huh?

Having gone through two deployments myself, its hard to be a photographer at times when someone you know is going through the same pain.

His daughter gave him one of her Care Bears to take with him. She has the other one that matches it at home with her while Daddy is away.

He wanted a bite of her donut and she didn't want to share. So she hit him. LOL.

But she's getting divorced so she was ok with it. "Ripping it was a great release for me" Crystal said.

She gets props for laying in that water because it smelled SO NASTY.

At the carnival on Camp Lejeune. Lots of weird looks from lots of weird people. But it was fun.

Why We Wait Goes Global!

As if being overwhelmed with shoots and editing and the Marine Corps isn't enough, how about throwing in a move! A really, really, REALLY big move.

Over a month ago my husband reenlisted in the Marines and we are getting ready to PCS (Permanent Change of Station) or move...to ENGLAND this summer! Yup. England. I couldn't believe it either at first.

So after about 2 months worth of paperwork, doctor visits, more paperwork and oh yeah..PAPERWORK, we are finally ready to make the move from lil' old Jacksonville, North Carolina to RAF (Royal Air Force base) Molesworth, England in July.

We'll be back home in Kansas during the month of June to spend time with family, my dog, friends, and of course...my birthday. =)

Once we get to England (oh yeah, did I mention we'll about 2 hours north of London? Yeah..) we'll have 30 days to find a place to live. Don't worry, I'll update as often as I can and of course post pictures. =)

In the meantime here are some pictures from the last shoots I've done here in the "oh-so-amazing-Camp Lejeune".
